The Mountain Terrace

We got married at the Mountain Terrace in September and it far exceeded our expectations! Caren, Anastasia and the whole team were extremely organized and helpful throughout the entire process and made it so the day went seamlessly. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and it was exactly what we were dreaming of for our day!

I recently had the privilege of experiencing an extraordinary team-building retreat at this stunning venue nestled amidst the majestic redwoods, all while conveniently close to the city. What truly set this experience apart was the flawless execution and exceptional organization. The staff members deserve a standing ovation for their incredible behavior and unwavering assistance throughout the retreat. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment was evident in every interaction, from setting up the cooking stations to providing guidance during the activities. It's rare to encounter such a cohesive and supportive team, and their efforts significantly contributed to the success of our event. Speaking of success, the food served during our cooking endeavors was nothing short of sensational. Every ingredient was fresh, and the recipes were thoughtfully curated to cater to a variety of tastes. From the aromas that filled the air during preparation to the delightful flavors that danced on our palates, each dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the team behind the scenes. Finally, this venue surrounded by the enchanting redwoods provided a remarkable setting for a team-building retreat that exceeded all expectations. Its proximity to the city makes it an ideal escape for those seeking a quick respite from urban life, without sacrificing the beauty of nature. The seamless blend of engaging activities, breathtaking scenery, and top-notch hospitality ensured that our experience was nothing short of magical. I recently photographed a wedding at The Mountain Terrace and I have to say - this venue is beautiful! I love the redwoods that surround the ceremony site. They make for a beautiful backdrop. The food was great and their planner, Kristy Meinhardt, did a phenomenal job at executing their vision. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your wedding at!

We got married in this absolutely stunning venue in July. We were initially attracted to this venue due to its location - somewhat convenient for the bay area, located along the Skyline so the weather stays cool in the summer, and surrounded by the redwood and sequoia trees that are meaningful to us. After having visited and talking with the staff and owners, it became apparent that they have strong communication skills and provide excellent customer service. Having their own in-house catering proved to be very convenient and we were completely satisfied with the quality of their food in the end. We worked with Anastasia as our coordinator and she was truly fantastic in both helping us prepare for the event and making sure everything ran smoothly the day of. The Mountain Terrace was attentive to our requests and worked with us on our customization needs. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly that helped to put the guests at ease. I have so much appreciation for their clear communication, transparent pricing, excellent vendor relationships, and customer-forward business model. It was a tough call for us to make at the time in choosing the right venue, but in hindsight, we absolutely made the correct choice. I can't endorse the Mountain Terrace enough and I would highly recommend you visit and talk with them to see if they will also be the right venue for you.

Breathtaking wedding. We had our June 2023 wedding at Mountain Terrace and it was like a dream. At first, I felt insecure when I booked the venue--was it too basic? was it overdone? NO. There is a reason this place hosts weddings...it is GORGEOUS. Picture an outdoor ceremony where guests can look at both the vast redwoods and a clear view of the city at the same time. Then imagine intimate bistro vibes as guests sit under fairy lights to enjoy dinner on the wooden patio. The best part: you get the whole venue to yourself--very private, very remote. Huge shoutout to both Caren and Anastasia. Caren is literally superwoman and will answer all questions regarding the wedding. Anastasia was our day of coordinator and kept things running smoothly--she had a way of anticipating our needs before we even said anything. We loved our experience and hope others will too. PS: we ended up renting the Terrace Suite (a residential home owned by Mountain Terrace) and it was a great meeting place for the bridal party and all the vendors. Not to mention it has a full kitchen so you can theoretically cook meals there if you wanted to...
